Who we are
Virtual Friends is responsible for the personal data described here. We are registered with the Dutch Chamber of Commerce (KVK) under 86165321. For any question about your data, email info@virtualfriends.dev.
What the contact form collects
When you send the form, we receive your message, your name and your email address, and your company and phone number if you give them. We also note which language you used the site in, so we can reply in the same one.
Why we use it
We use these details only to reply to you and follow up on your question. We do this because you asked us to get in touch, and because we have a legitimate interest in answering messages. We don’t use them for marketing, and we never sell them.
Spam protection with Cloudflare Turnstile
To keep bots out, the form uses Cloudflare Turnstile. When you fill in the form, Turnstile runs a quick check in your browser to tell people from bots. For this, Cloudflare processes technical data such as your IP address and details about your browser and device. Cloudflare uses this data only to run and improve the check, not for advertising. The site itself uses no analytics or advertising trackers.

The site and the form run on Cloudflare, which delivers each message to our business email inbox. Cloudflare processes your data on our behalf and may do so outside the EU; it is certified under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework. We don’t share your details with anyone else unless the law requires it.
How long we keep it
We keep your message for as long as we need it to handle your question, and delete it within 12 months unless it leads to working together. Technical logs from the form are deleted automatically within 7 days.
Your rights
You can ask us to show, correct or delete your data, to limit or stop how we use it, or to send you a copy. Email info@virtualfriends.dev and we’ll reply within a month. If you think we handle your data wrongly, you can complain to the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens).
